THE COAST GUARD was scheduled to "pick" up this float with rocket funnels for launching Monday morning. The "pick up" was to have taken place Saturday or Sunday but weather factors prevented towing the raft from Copper Harbor to the Point. A Copper Harbor reef is shown in the background. It is from this platform that the rockets are to be fired.
