With the change over, I did not migrate the old user base. You will need to create a new account. Note: accounts are for members of General Technics ONLY. If I don't recognize you as a member of GT, then your account will not be approved.
* Why Drupal instead of the very popular WordPress? One word: Security. Several years ago the old site kept getting infected with malware due to insecure WP sites run by other users on the shared host. WP has apparently cleaned things up a lot, but I still won't go anywhere near it. When I started researching CMS, I found that Drupal had a very good reputation on security.
